Last week I won a University of Leeds Partnership Award for Innovation. These awards celebrate the Leeds Partnership between students and staff and the expectations that we can expect from each other. I was nominated for the work that I've done using social media and blended learning. I knew I had been shortlisted but didn't expect to win and still can't really believe that I did. Whilst I received the award it was only possible to achieve the things that I have done this year with the help and support of my students and colleagues. Thank you to all of them for trying new things and working in different ways - it took a lot of courage.

I am so glad all your hard work has been recognised. One of the benefits of being an early adopter.
